ATTENBOROUGH 'MAKING PROGRESS'

Veteran actor LORD RICHARD ATTENBOROUGH is recovering well despite spending the whole of the festive period in hospital.
The 85-year-old Oscar winner fell and suffered a knock to the head on 18 December (08).
He slipped into a coma and was admitted to St George's Hospital in Tooting, West London. The actor/director subsequently regained consciousness but was not well enough to return home over Christmas.
A spokesman for the medical centre insists that the star's condition is not life threatening and he is on the road to recovery.
The representative says, "Richard Attenborough is making progress and remains in a stable condition."
