VERVE singer RICHARD ASHCROFT has changed his hell-raising ways during the band's eight-year absence from the music scene. The frontman, 36, has become a father-of-two during the group's sabbatical, and insists time has had a mellowing influence on the band as a whole. He says: "I don't think you can get around the fact we have changed. There have always been more hedonists around in the band and I don't think that's the case this time."
