ARQUETTE 'TOO OLD' FOR DESPERATELY SEEKING SUSAN
Actress ROSANNA ARQUETTE was desperate to land a part in the musical adaptation of DESPERATELY SEEKING SUSAN - but believes she's too old to revisit the movie. The star, who won a best supporting actress BAFTA for her role as Roberta Glass in the 1985 movie, insists she would have loved to have been a part of the stage version, which is currently playing on London's West End. She says, "I'm too old but I would have loved to do it though. I can sing, but just not as well as them. "I thought that when I was doing the film, it would make a really good musical. It's a really good romantic comedy."
