ARMSTRONG TURNED TO EX-WIFE FOR COMPETING ADVICE

Cycling hero LANCE ARMSTRONG turned to his ex-wife for advice on coming out of retirement to compete in the Tour de France.
The seven-time Tour de France champion, who has dated rocker Sheryl Crow and actress Kate Hudson, was unsure whether to race in the competition again - so turned to ex-wife Kristin for her opinion.
He tells People.com, "Quite frankly, if she had said, 'I don't support it,' or 'I'm not into it,' I wouldn't have done it. But Kristin has been an amazing supporter. Very flexible and just amazing with the kids. I need that from her to do this.
After making his decision, Armstrong confided in his young son, Luke - but not his twin daughters, Isabelle and Grace.
He adds, "I said, 'Luke, don't tell your sisters.' His sisters tell people everything. But I fully expected him to tell them."
"I had to tell them (his daughters), 'Don't go to school and tell everybody.' When it finally came out, they said, 'Okay, NOW can we tell everybody?'"
