ARMSTRONG HOSPITALISED FOR BROKEN COLLARBONE

Champion cyclist LANCE ARMSTRONG is nursing a broken collarbone after crashing during a race in Spain.
The athlete ex of rocker Sheryl Crow and actress Kate Hudson was competing in the first stage of the Vuelta of Castilla and Leon event on Monday (23Mar09) when he was involved in a multiple collision.
Armstrong, 37, was taken to hospital in Palencia, where doctors diagnosed him with the fracture.
It was Armstrong's first race in the country in five years.
He recently returned from retirement to compete in the world's top cycle races, including the Tour De France, which he has won a record seven consecutive times.
