ARCTIC'S ALBUM 'NOT HAPPENING YET'
The new ARCTIC MONKEYS album is still in its early stages and won't appear in the immediate future, their producer has claimed.
It had been rumoured that the Sheffield band were in the studio, but producer James Ford has said he is not yet working on any new material from them.
However, Ford who is one half of Simian Mobile Disco revealed he is currently working on several other projects.
"There's no Arctic's stuff happening just yet, they're still in the writing and demo-ing stage, I think," he told BBC 6 Music.
"I'm still currently doing Klaxons new record and obviously Simian Mobile Discos new record - and Im gonna be playing live with The Last Shadow Puppets as well so were just rehearsing for that tour really."
Ford took production duties on the Arctic's second album FAVOURITE WORST NIGHTMARE and is lined up for their third.
Elsewhere, THE KILLS frontwoman Alison Mosshart recently revealed she has recorded a track with Alex Turner's band.
