ARCTIC MONKEYS' LYRIC DOUBTS
Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner doesn't have confidence in his own writing ability and is too nervous to publish the band's lyrics.
Arctic Monkeys didn't think their lyrics were good enough to print.
The 'I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor' hitmakers have never published their words with their albums and singer Alex Turner admits it is because he didn't have enough confidence in his abilities.
He said: "I didn't have the bottle to do it before. Didn't think they were up to it. But I will do next time."
The singer is currently living in America with girlfriend Alexa Chung but claims he doesn't mind if the group's forthcoming album 'Humbug' fails to set US charts alight.
He added: "Does it have an eye in America? Not really. We're aware of it. Them upstairs probably think it's important but we just have a desire for people to listen to our music."
