ARCADE FIRE 'WERE RADIOHEAD'S CITY GUIDE'
RADIOHEAD returned to Montreal as part of their North American world tour last night, a city they were shown around by ARCADE FIRE on their last visit.
Bassist Colin Greenwood has been reminiscing about his band were shown the sights of the city after ARCADE FIRE attended both of RADIOHEAD'S shows in Montreal in 2006.
"It was really fun," he told the Montreal Gazette.
"They took us up to their part of town [Mile End], where they live. We had bagels and coffee on the church steps. It was really cool. We went to some bar - this European Community Centre - and watched football during the World Cup.
He went on to say how they walked to the top of hill from which they looked across the whole city.
"We talked to Regine and Win (Butler) about life and touring. It was really cool," he added.
Elsewhere, Radiohead recently played a headline slot at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago.
