ARCADE FIRE RETURN FROM HIATUS
ARCADE FIRE are feeling rejuvenated and ready to make a new album after taking a year-long break, it has been revealed.
Speaking to the Montreal Gazette, WIN BUTLER, the band's singer, explained that the Canadian outfit is hoping for great things following their hiatus.
"We feel really creative right now. We're in a really good space as a band," he said.
Their 12 months off was the first break the members had had for five years and "everyone feels really rejuvenated and excited", he added.
Butler also found time to give his views on US president Barack Obama during the interview.
According to the singer, he is impressed with the way Obama talks and is "glad that there's a smart person in charge" during the current economic strife.
Earlier this year, Butler told Uncut magazine that he was not planning to launch a solo career, explaining that the he much prefers to play with a band behind him.
