APPRENTICE SCENES 'TOO VIOLENT' FOR BBC

Some scenes filmed for this year's The Apprentice have been deemed too violent for broadcast, one of the show's candidates has claimed.

Claire Young was quoted by the Sunday Mirror as telling fellow holidaymakers in Spain that the most aggressive clashes between the contestants have been cut from the series.

Viewers of the BBC1 show will have already seen the candidates argue with each other excessively, while Young, 29, was sent back to the house, but not fired, when Sir Alan Sugar said he was "sick of looking at her".

But the retail buyer said much worse encounters had been left on the cutting room floor.

"There are all these egos in one room, there was a lot of bad swearing and it got really aggressive," she said according to the Sunday Mirror.

"A lot had to be cut out. On one task someone even got hit."

The winner of The Apprentice season four, and a £100,000-a-year salary, is being kept under wraps until the series has run its course.

Ten candidates remain after Kevin Shaw was fired last week as his team's Save the Planet Week failed to impress greeting card bosses or Sir Alan.
