APPLEGATE FORCED TO RETHINK MOTHERHOOD

Actress CHRISTINA APPLEGATE has been forced to speed up her plans to become a mum - before the threat of cancer claims her ovaries.
The Anchorman star had a mastectomy in July (08) after she was diagnosed with breast cancer and now doctors are urging her to consider becoming a mum in the next few years - because she has tested positive for a gene that increases the chances of ovarian cancer.
Applegate, who turns 37 later this month (25Nov08), tells TV Guide magazine, "They (doctors) suggest you kind of get on it before you're a certain age so that they can remove your ovaries.
"That definitely makes a big difference in my timetable.
"Everything has to be a process, though. It'll happen. It's just not gonna happen right now."
