ANTONY AND THE JOHNSONS SHOOT TO TOP OF EUROPEAN CHART
ANTONY AND THE JOHNSONS' new album THE CRYING LIGHT has catapulted to the top of the European music charts in its first week of release.
The U.S. rockers have triumphed in the European Top 100 Albums list this week (begs26Jan09), with their third studio outing beating off Duffy's second place disc Rockferry and Pink's effort Funhouse
Meanwhile, Katy Perry flexes her girl power as her track Hot N Cold remains the continent's most popular song, topping James Morrison's duet with Nelly Furtado, Broken Strings, as well as Lady GaGa's Just Dance, at three.
The Pussycat Dolls' tune I Hate This Part trails in fourth, while Beyonce's If I Were A Boy rounds out the top five.
