ANTI-GANG WORKER SENTENCED FOR BIZZY BONE ATTACK

The anti-gang worker linked to a vicious attack on BONE THUGS-N-HARMONY star BIZZY BONE has been sentenced to 12 years in prison after pleading no contest to burglary.
The rapper - real name Byron MCCane - was confronted by a group of individuals in January (09) after returning to his hotel following a night at a restaurant. The men allegedly beat and choked him before making off with his jewellery.
Marlo Jones and three co-defendants admitted a charge of residential burglary at a hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday (24Nov09).
Jones, 31, who was an employee of a program endorsed by the Los Angeles Police Department to help reduce inner-city crime, admitted his actions were carried out to benefit a street gang.
Jones's co defendants - Ricky Pearson, 30, Vanquan Knott, 20, and Markiece Goss, 24 - were also sentenced to lengthy prison terms of between six and 19 years a-piece.
