ADAM ANT twice swore at MICHAEL JACKSON over the phone, because he was convinced one of his friends was pretending to be the megastar. It was only when Jackson's record producer QUINCY JONES called Ant - real name STUART GODDARD - that he realised his embarrassing error. Despite the misunderstanding, Goddard was still invited to Jackson's Los Angeles home in 1983. He says, "We spoke on the phone a bit. The first time he called me I thought it was one of my bandmates taking the p**s. I told him to f**k off twice. "It was only when Quincy Jones rang me up later that I realised it really was Michael! "He eventually invited me to his place near LA for the day. He was just a very charming and gracious host, but very shy.
