ANNIE DROPS SONG AFTER GIRLS ALOUD BACKING VOCAL BLUNDER

Norwegian pop star ANNIE has been forced to pull a track from her forthcoming album - because GIRLS ALOUD were furious the song featured their vocals.
The Chewing Gum singer was set to include My Love Is Better on her sophomore LP Don't Stop - but had to scrap the song when the British band realised their backing vocals appeared on the track without their permission.
Annie and Girls Aloud use the same producer/writer, Brian Higgins, but the girl group had recorded the song before it was offered to the 29-year-old solo star.
A source tells Teletext's Planet Sound, "The Girls can't believe Brian didn't let them know first.
"Basing a song for another artist around the Girls' demo vocals is cheeky of him, to put it mildly."
