Anna Kournikova has sparked rumours she has got engaged to singer Enrique Iglesias after she was spotted wearing a diamond band on her ring finger.

Anna Kournikova has reportedly got engaged.

The tennis player - who has been dating Enrique Iglesias on and off for eight years - has been wearing a large diamond ring on her wedding finger, sparking rumours the couple are set to wed.

When asked about the ring's significance by one reporter, she snapped: "I thought you were the good press."

She then quickly put her hand behind her back.

Last year, Enrique - who began dating the blonde beauty after she appeared in his music video for 'Escape' in 2001 - gushed that Anna is the love of his life but claimed he had no plans to marry her in the immediate future.

He said: "Anna is amazing, she's the ideal woman. She's the woman of my life now and, though I don't really believe in eternal love, it sometimes does happen.

"I believe in marriage but I don't think you need to be married to be happy. I've seen blissfully happy couples who aren't married and I've seen married couples who are miserable.

"It's hard to keep a relationship healthy and stable - you only have to look at divorce figures."

The couple are often the subject of engagement rumours and Enrique once joked they had got married and split up.
