ANGELINA JOLIE BIRTH RUMOURS DISMISSED

A representative for Angelina Jolie has dismissed rumours sweeping the internet that she has given birth to twins.

Reports emerged today that the Hollywood actress gave birth to two baby girls while staying in the French Riviera.

A 'source' said to be close to Jolie claimed they had been named Isla Marcheline (after Jolie's late mother) and Amelie Jane (after Brad Pitt's mother).

But her representative told People magazine that there is no truth in the rumours.

"Angelina has not given birth. She is fine, enjoying her home and her family in France," the spokesperson told the magazine.

Jolie and her partner Pitt are reported to currently be renting a 35-bedroom mansion in the South of France.

Two weeks ago the Tomb Raider actress admitted during an interview at the Cannes film festival that she was pregnant with twins.

It has been reported that Jolie wants to give birth in France partly to honour her mother's French heritage.
