ANDREW MCCARTHY FEARS FLOP ON NEW YORK STAGE
Eighties film star ANDREW MCCARTHY is terrified his new play about parenthood will be a flop when it debuts in New York on Monday (21Apr08).
The Pretty in Pink star wrote and appears in a segment in Vagina Monologues-inspired play Afterbirth, in which he recounts anecdotes about his experiences with his own six-year-old son Sam.
But MCCarthy fears it'll only be funny for him, telling the New York Post, "It felt good to write, but I'm preparing for tomatoes to be thrown."
