LATEST: Disgraced British supermodel SOPHIE ANDERTON has checked into rehab following recent newspaper revelations exposing her as a drug-taking prostitute. The former Gossard lingerie model, 30, was caught out last week (16Nov07) after attempting to charge an undercover journalist $20,000 (GBP10,000) for a night of cocaine-fuelled sex. The expose is alleged to have sent Anderton into a deep depression, and she is now seeking professional help at exclusive London clinic The Priory to help her kick her drug habit once and for all. In a statement released by her parents on Thursday night (22Nov07), mum Sue and stepdad John Deacon requested Anderton be allowed to seek help in private. A family friend says, "She's been screaming and crying down the phone, yelling, 'It's all over.' "Sophie is absolutely shattered. Everyone is terrified about her state of mind. Sue and John have been worried sick. But hopefully she is in the right place now." This is Anderton's third attempt at rehab, after previously trying to deal with her drug demons in 1998 and 2003.
