ANDERSON REGRETS JETHRO TULL NAME
JETHRO TULL frontman IAN ANDERSON would like to go back in time and come up with a better name for his progressive rock act - because he has always hated it.
The singer admits he didn't pay enough attention to the group's name and has often felt it's a bit too "hillbilly" for his liking.
He says, "If there's one thing I could change about my professional life it's being named after a dead guy who invented a seed drill.
"I liked the Tull bit 'cos it sounded like some interplanetary warlord, but the Jethro bit was too hillbilly for me."
