ANDERSON HONOURED IN SWEDEN
Quirky moviemaker WES ANDERSON is to be honoured at the upcoming Stockholm Film Festival in Sweden for the way he portrays lonely people in his films. The Royal Tenenbaums director will be presented with the Visionary Award for creating "unique and stylised universes inhabited by characters searching for something to search for". Festival organisers claim Anderson has given "a modern face to the classic auteur". The award will be presented during next month's (Nov07) festival.
