ANDERSON FILM TO OPEN NY FILM FESTIVAL
Wes Anderson's latest film The Darjeeling Limited will open the New York film festival which begins on September 28th.
Starring Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman, The Darjeeling Limited tells the story of three men who take a disastrous trip to India.
It is the third film by the The Royal Tenenbaums director to be screened at the festival, which will also show the Coen brothers' new movie No Country for Old Men.
The winner of the Cannes Palme d'Or this year, 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days, will also be shown.
Romanian director Cristian Mungiu will be joined by a number of other top directors at the event, which does not give out awards.
The final movie to be shown at the festival has not yet been announced.
This year's festival will be relocated to the Frederick P Rose Hall as the normal venue, the Lincoln Centre, is currently being renovated.
The Frederick P Rose Hall is in the nearby Time Warner Centre.
