ANASTASIO ARRESTED FOR DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

Former PHISH frontman TREY ANASTASIO faces an early 2007 legal battle after getting arrested yesterday (15DEC06) for driving under the influence of drugs. Police who pulled the rocker over in upstate New York also discovered Anastasio was driving with a suspended license. The singer/songwriter was found to be in possession of painkiller prescribed to another person and he proceeded to fail a field sobriety test. He was booked by police in Whitehall, New York and released. He'll return for a hearing next month (JAN07).
