ANASTACIA: 'I DON'T LIKE MUSIC'
Singer ANASTACIA would rather sit in silence than listen to her iPod - because she finds music "irritating".
The I'm Outta Love hitmaker shuns listening to tunes when she's not working, as she can't relax when she hears music.
And the star has never even splashed out on an LP - she admits the only music she's ever bought is a Janet Jackson tape.
She says, "This might sound unbelievable but I really don't like music. I like writing and performing but I prefer silence to putting on a CD. Listening to music doesn't relax me and I find it hard to think straight when it's on.
"I have an iPod but I can't recall the last time I used it. I've never bought a record in my life. I bought a Janet Jackson cassette once but that's it.
"Music has never moved me. It doesn't do anything for me. To be honest I find it irritating."

time at home with friends and family, and am now gearing up to kick ass in
2009!!! "So I hear someone's claimed recently that I don't like music! I guess
sometimes you get quoted out of context but, just to clear things up, here is
how I really feel... I've always been passionate about music. All sorts of
music, of all genres - pop, rock and soul. It's what got me into this business
in the first place. "For as long as I can remember I've loved singing and
performing above anything else, and I've always been thankful that I've been
able to do day-to-day what I love doing most. There may be times, after a long
stressful day, when I prefer silence to putting on a CD, but I really don't
think this alters the fact that as a singer my life is about music. "Anyway,
