Amy Winehouse's ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil is to become a first-time father, according to his mum Georgette.
Fielder-Civil, who was married to the singer for two years before they divorced in 2009, is said to be expecting a baby with his girlfriend Sarah Aspin at the end of the month (Apr11).
But the 28 year old's mother is convinced her son is not prepared for fatherhood because he is living on welfare payments and allegedly struggling with a drug addiction.
Georgette admits Winehouse once begged her to keep Fielder-Civil away from Aspin, and reveals she kicked her son out of her house when she realised he and his pregnant girlfriend were allegedly using drugs.
She tells Britain's The Sun, "As long as he is with another addict there is no hope. The final straw was them doing drugs while she is carrying an innocent baby - they just don't seem to care.
"Amy said Sarah was 'fit to burn' and pleaded with me to get rid of her. She said while Blake was with her he would never get off drugs. And she's absolutely right."
Fielder-Civil was behind bars last month (Mar11) after he was arrested on suspicion of burglary and possessing a firearm.
