AMY WINEHOUSE VOTED TOP HEROINE FOR UNDER 25S

AMY WINEHOUSE has topped a poll of ultimate heroines.

The BACK TO BLACK songstress was voted into the number one spot by youngsters aged under 25.

Other celebrities who made it onto the list included WAG COLEEN MCLOUGHLIN, while singer PETE DOHERTY topped the hero poll, reports the Press Association.

AMY also proved popular with older fans, coming second to Princess Diana in Sky.com's poll of the general population.

Psychologist Donna Dawson told the news provider: "The results show that what society defines as a 'hero' and a 'heroine' seems to differ greatly.

"The majority of the top ten women chosen, such as Diana, Princess of Wales and Amy Winehouse, seem to portray a certain sense of vulnerability or have had to fight against some adversity in their lives."

Meanwhile, the Sun has reported that Ms Winehouse and her incarcerated husband BLAKE FIELDER-CIVIL are planning a tell-all book.

The publication added that they have been offered £1 million to reveal the intimate details of their relationship.

A source told the newspaper: "They are prepared for it to be warts and all."
