AMERICAN IDOL TEEN PARIS BENNETT PREGNANT

Former AMERICAN IDOL contender PARIS BENNETT is expecting her first child, her representative has confirmed.
The 19-year-old, who competed in the fifth season of the TV singing competition, will throw a baby shower in August (08) before welcoming the tot later this year (08), according to People.com.
The teen's mother, Jamecia Bennett, tells Minnesota newspaper the Minneapolis Star Tribune the father "chooses not to be in the public eye" but confirms that the singer plans to marry and "has a ring".
Bennett finished in fifth place in the show's 2006 series, and released her debut album Princess P the following year (07).
