ALYSON HANNIGAN'S BREASTFEEDING AMAZEMENT

Alyson Hannigan is amazed at how much weight she has lost while breastfeeding her six-month-old daughter Satyana.

Alyson Hannigan wants to breastfeed until her daughter is 18.

The 'How I Met Your Mother' actress - who has six-month-old Satyana with husband Alexis Denisof - is amazed at how much of her pregnancy weight she has shed through nursing the infant and has joked she wants to make it part of her weight maintenance regime.

She said: "I know it's a cliche, but I was eating just ridiculous amounts of food but still losing weight. I think I should just keep breastfeeding until she's 18.

"Is that weird? If I just keep pumping? No, I'm not going to do that. That was a joke. Please don't send letters!"

Since returning to work on the hit sit-com, Alyson, 35, has developed a newfound appreciation for the demands of being a working mother, and admits she has it easier than many others in her position.

She added to Celebrity Baby Blog: "I am a busy mom....it's amazing how you have to sort of juggle things more than you did before the baby.

"We have a nursery on set. My baby gets to come with me every day, and her daddy is there. I'm really fortunate to be able to bring her to work."
