ALT HAPPY DESPITE LOSING LEGAL BATTLE

CAROL ALT is claiming victory despite losing a legal battle with her ex-husband - because the end of the bitter saga has left her free to get on with her life.
Earlier this month (Nov08) the 47-year-old former supermodel was ordered to pay ex-spouse Ron Greschner's legal fees, after failing in her attempt to make him pay a share of an investment made during their marriage.
Alt has been left more than $30,000 (GBP20,000) out of pocket - but she's happy it's all over.
She tells the New York Daily News, "The first thing I said when I came out of the courthouse was 'It's freedom'. Regardless of what the outcome was, I understand who this man is, and it's freedom for me."
And she insists business is booming: "I'm working like crazy. I have four books out, a skin-care line. I'm shooting movies. I'm working like nuts."
