ALLEY'S $1,000 CHARITY CONTEST

KIRSTIE ALLEY is pitting her fans against each other in a new online contest - for a $1,000 (£625) donation to their favourite charity.
The former Cheers star is offering her loyal Twitter.com followers the chance to earn cash for their favourite organisation - just for answering a simple question on Sunday (22Nov09).
In a post on her personal page, Alley writes, "I will ask you the contest question. Remember I like funny and smart. The best answer.. $1,000.00 to YOUR charity.
"You can play and win the contest if you are from another country but you have to donate the $ to a USA charity... so all of you can play.
"What gets me through tough times is helping someone in more need than me... not hard to find usually."
