ALLEN'S CAR DISASTER
Pop star LILY ALLEN had a minor disaster while out driving this week (beg01Dec08) - the singer's car broke down after running out of petrol.
The Smile hitmaker was left stranded at the side of a busy London road when her BMW 3-Series cut out.
Luckily a kind-hearted passer-by was on hand and offered to dash to a nearby garage on the city's famous Park Lane to buy her a can of fuel - and the star was soon on her way again.
