ALLEN HAS NOTHING TO FEAR WITH TOP ALBUM AND SINGLE
LILY ALLEN is celebrating a chart double - her latest single THE FEAR remains atop the U.K. single charts on the same week her new LP IT'S NOT ME, IT'S YOU jumps straight to number one on the album list.
The pop star is in the poll position for her third consecutive week, and enjoys her first ever number one album in Britain. Her debut, Alright, Still, only found its way to number two.
Allen keeps U.S. pop sensation Lady GaGa in second place with Just Dance, while British R&B singer Alesha Dixon jumps two places to number three.
Eminem's comeback record with Dr Dre and 50 Cent, Crack A Bottle, sits at number four while Tinchy Stryder is fifth with Take Me Back.
Following Allen in the U.K. album charts is the Kings of Leon with Only By The Night, while UB40 compilation Love Songs goes to number three, with Luther Vandross' Lovesongs and James Morrison's Songs For You Truths For Me rounding out the top five.
