ALLEN ALMOST MISSED OUT ON AUSSIE SOAP CAMEO

British singer LILY ALLEN was left fuming at her manager after he almost cost her a role on Australian TV show NEIGHBOURS.
The Smile hitmaker made a cameo on the longrunning soap in June (09), but she narrowly missed out on the opportunity because her management didn't think she'd be interested in the part.
She says, "It was really weird but poor Todd, my manager, always has to kind of like pass on things. People will send him requests and, you know, he runs them pass me sort of every couple of weeks. And he went, 'Neighbours called, they wanted you to go and be in a scene for the day, so obviously I passed.' I said, 'What are you talking about? Why would you do that? Neighbours is brilliant!' So we did and we flew out there."
