ALL WE ARE SAYING IS GIVE RAZORLIGHT A CHANCE
Johnny Borrell has complained that the press have not looked at Razorlight's new album impartially.
The lead singer claims his portrayal in the media has meant his band's third album Slipway Fires has not been viewed fairly.
"I'm not happy with the reviews on the whole because I dont think people have given the album a chance," he told the Daily Star newspaper.
"A couple sounded like they hadn't even bothered listening to it."
"If I go to a gig and see a band I don't like, at least I can be objective, but it seems people want to believe the crap that's written about me.
"But the haters aren't going to win," he added ahead of Razorlight's show at London's Brixton Academy.
Borrell also dismissed reports that he plans to release a solo album as "total rubbish".
"It doesn't matter if I say a hundred times 'I'm in a band', nobody wants to listen.
"Noel Gallagher writes the songs for Oasis but he doesn't get the amount of flak I get."
He continued: "It's like when somebody asks to photograph Razorlight for a magazine we'll say: 'Yes put the band on the front', but then they go and use a picture of just me and then people have a pop at me for it.
"People prefer to think I'm always throwing a strop but I'm committed to this band."
Slipway Fires is out now.

Well, according to Johnny Borrell he is getting a load of bull s**t from the
English public about his new album however, maybe he shouldn't treat his fans
like s**t and give scathing looks to his audience when he is performing on
stage. I guess you get what you pay for.
