All Saints members Nicole Appleton and Melanie Blatt have become the latest stars to take the reins on Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack.

The girlband members summoned the housemates to the sofa areas with professional dancer Latoya Satnarine saying: "That's All Saints," after hearing the pair's voices.

After confirming their arrival, the singers added: "We're very happy to be here with you guys and we've started on the champagne already."

Latoya was later invited to spend some time chatting with Appleton and Blatt, to which she responded: "Highs and the lows – this is a high right here."

After emerging from her brief chat with the pair, Latoya told her housemates she had discussed "loads of things" with the Pure Shores stars.

"Who's fit, how everyone's really pretty in here," she said. "We were just laughing in there. They were making me laugh... it was good."

However Appleton and Blatt weren't so friendly to everyone and managed to upset classical musician Calista Robertson by criticising her makeup.

Appleton, married to Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, told the group they were "gorgeous" before telling Calista to wear less eyeliner.

"You don't look bad," she explained, "but in the day it looks nice to be more natural."

An embarrassed Calista replied sheepishly: "Jay [Wilson] said it looks nice on camera."

The All Saints duo later set the contestants a task to discover the 'brain of Big Brother' before partying with the housemates, armed with champagne.
