All 16 'Big Brother' contestants entering the reality TV house tonight are 'guests' and could be evicted within three days of the show's start.

All 16 'Big Brother' contestants could be evicted within three days of the show's start.

Those entering the fly-on-the-wall TV house tonight (04.06.09) will be told they are only 'guests' and need to earn the right to stay on as housemates.

The eight male and eight female contestants will each be handed a task - which if they fail will see them evicted on Sunday's (07.06.09) live show.

The show's executive producer, Sharon Powers, said: "We wanted the series to get off with a real bang and put them on the back foot from the beginning.

"We'll test their fear and we will see just how stupid they are prepared to look in order to survive. The tasks are designed to make us laugh while making them as uncomfortable as possible.

"It's going to make the first few days incredibly uncomfortable and I wouldn't be surprised if some of them can't hack it and ask to leave - which they are free to do."

Contestants enter the reality TV house tonight (04.06.09) and are in for a shock as they will discover it is almost completely bare with no furniture other than packing crates to sit on.

'Big Brother' will be shown live on Channel 4 tonight at 9pm.
