'Bad Boys' singer Alexandra Burke celebrated her 21st birthday yesterday (25.08.09) with a host of celebrity friends at a bowling-themed bash at London's Shoreditch House.

Alexandra Burke celebrated her 21st birthday with a star-studded bowling party yesterday (25.08.09).

The 'X Factor' winner - who is preparing to release her highly-anticipated debut LP this October - spent the evening at London's exclusive Shoreditch House with friends, family and celebrity pals.

A source said: "The bowling party was all Alexandra's idea - she just loves 10-pin bowling.

"It was a fantastic night. Alex and the label opened up a £10,000 bar tab so everyone could really let their hair down."

Guests including British TV presenter Myleene Klass and former 'X Factor' contestants JLS, Ruth Lorenzo and Laura White.

However, they will be expected to do it again later this year when Alexandra throws a second birthday bash.

The source explained: "Like the queen, Alexandra is actually having two birthday parties - one last night and one in October to coincide with the new album launch. She decided to treat herself to a Stella McCartney outfit, Christian Louboutin heels and a Tiffany ring."

Although the 'X Factor' judges were unable to attend the party, Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole overwhelmed the singer with their generous birthday gifts.

A source said: "Alex was in tears. Things just couldn't be better for her."

Girls Aloud singer Cheryl - who was the singer's mentor on the TV talent show - wished Alexandra a happy birthday over the phone and splashed out £5,000 on a luxurious holiday.

The generous star has booked Alexandra in to the Constance Lemuria resort in the Seychelles - the same exclusive hotel she honeymooned at with her soccer husband Ashley Cole in 2006.

Music mogul Simon treated Alexandra to a £7,000 Chanel handbag, while Australian star Dannii sent her a grey Tabitha bag.
