BILLY JOEL and CHRISTIE BRINKLEY's musician daughter ALEXA is desperately looking for love - but her four-times divorced mother is begging her to stay single.
Brinkley spent the summer embroiled in a very public and bitter divorce battle with cheating fourth husband Peter Cook - and Alexa admits it has affected her opinion on relationships and marriage.
But the 22-year-old singer is still determined to find Mr. Right.
She says, "My mom's like 'Honey, don't get married'. It comes from a good place, but I'm such a romantic, I'd like to get married one day. It's fulfilling to live with a person you love."

Please PLEASE take your mother's sage advice.
You are a beautiful, talented young woman with a lot of living to you.
Your parents love you and want the best for you.
Get out there and make your career your TOP priority- and enjoy your life as it
comes along. Don't get tied up by one "guy"- especially in the bonds of
matrimony.
You've got a lot of living to do- Live it to the fullest. And you won't be able
to enjoy it "to the fullest" if you have to answer to a man.
