Alesha Dixon has endured several dull dates recently, but is confident she will find the perfect partner soon.

Alesha Dixon got so bored on a date she started arranging her work schedule.

The British singer - who is divorced from UK rapper MC Harvey - has endured several dull dinners, but is confident she will find the perfect partner soon.

She said: "I've been on a bad date where the man is talking and my brain has drifted off and I've started thinking about other things, what I've got to do the next day and all that!

"But you can never really know what's in store for you. You have to take risks in life. You have to out yourself out there. I guess, take some people as you find them."

The 30-year-old star refuses to obsess about the things which have gone wrong in her life, insisting the best way to make a success of yourself is to learn from your mistakes.

She added: "If something doesn't work out, or if it goes wrong, it doesn't mean it's a bad thing. You can find a positive thing in a negative situation.

"In those times you learn and keep finding a fresh approach. Just think, 'Well, this has happened for a reason.' "
