ALBARN SNUBS BLAIR
GORILLAZ star DAMON ALBARN has snubbed a party invite from TONY BLAIR, insisting he is no longer a supporter of the British Prime Minister.
Albarn, who is also the frontman of BLUR, was staunch supporter of Blair when he came to power as leader of the Labour Party in 1997, but now insists he is a "Communist" following the war in Iraq.
He says, "I am no longer a New labour supporter. I am now a Communist."

Sorry, but this story is rubbish! The quote comes from 1997 - when he was
invited to the post-Election celebration bash and Damon sent a letter to Blair
stating: "I'm sorry, I won't be attending as I am no longer a New Labour
supporter. I am now a Communist. Enjoy the schmooze, comrade. Love, Damon."
