ALBA SORRY ABOUT SHARK POSTER PROTEST

JESSICA ALBA has apologised for defacing public property in Oklahoma with shark posters.
The actress landed in trouble with state authorities after she was caught on camera plastering posters on electrical boxes, a bridge and a billboard for the charity United Way in the state's capital - where she is shooting a new movie.
Alba was reportedly making an animal rights protest, but accepts she was wrong to deface property.
In a statement released on Tuesday (09Jun09), she said, "I got involved in something I should have had no part of. I realise that I should have used better judgment and I regret not thinking things through before I made a spontaneous and ill-advised decision to let myself get involved with the people behind this campaign.
"I sincerely apologise to the citizens of Oklahoma City and to the United Way for my involvement in this incident."
