AKON FLIES TO AFRICA FOR LABEL LAUNCH

R&B singer AKON is launching his clothing line in Africa.
The Smack That hitmaker debuted his Konvict & Aliaune Clothing collection in the U.S. in 2007, and now fans in Africa can get their hands on the star's fashion designs too.
Senegalese native Akon flew to South Africa on Wednesday (13May09) to shoot a new music video, but he's turning the trip into a promotional tour and will announce the expansion of his clothing business this week (begs11May09).
He is also expected to meet the new South African president, Jacob Zuma, before flying to Angola on Friday (15May09).
