CHRISTINA AGUILERA and her husband JORDAN BRATMAN are planning to ring in the New Year (07) in style and prove reports their one-year marriage is in trouble at the same time. The couple are set to host a New Year's Eve (31DEC06) party at New York's Hudson Hotel with a bunch of friends, according to sources, to end a trying year, which saw the pop superstar on the road and away from her man. Rumours started swirling about a possible break-up, when both Aguilera and Bratman were spotted partying without each other and without their wedding rings recently. But insiders insist the marriage is still solid and the couple can't wait to spend more time with each other in 2007, according to America's Life + Style magazine. A friend says, "They're fine. They talk on the phone all the time. Jordan's still devoted to Christina and to managing her career." New Year's Eve will be a busy night for Aguilera - as well as hosting her Hudson Hotel party, the singer will also perform as part of US TV network ABC's annual DICK CLARK'S NEW YEAR'S ROCKIN' EVE show.
