AEROSMITH TO HIT THE ROAD WITH ZZ TOP

AEROSMITH have postponed work on their new album so they can tour with ZZ TOP this summer (09).
Health issues initially prompted the band to call off recording sessions - and now they hope to return to the studio once they've finished a string of shows with ZZ Top.
Guitarist Joe Perry says, "We realised there wasn't any chance of getting it finished before we hit the road for the summer."
The 40-date North American tour is scheduled to start in June (09), with a full itinerary to be announced, and dates in South America and Europe are being considered, according to sources.
The shows will be Aerosmith's first in over two years - and come following Perry's 2008 knee surgery.
