ADKINS PENS NEW BOOK

Country star TRACE ADKINS is celebrating life as a self-confessed redneck in a new book. The Chrome singer has just completed work on his first tome, A Personal Stand: Observations And Opinions Of A Freethinking Roughneck, and plans to release it in October (07). He says, "It's been knocking around in my head for a while now. It's not exactly a memoir, but more of a look at the state of the country as I've seen it through the lens of my admittedly colourful life." In the book, Adkins addresses issues like immigration and the war on terror.

Please do better research. The title of the book says roughneck, not redneck.
