ADELE'S HOUSEWORK SONGS

Adele says her next album is inspired by relationships and the things that annoy her about men.

Adele is writing an album about chores.

The 'Chasing Pavements' singer is currently in the studio working on the follow-up to her 2008 debut '19'and says she is using the things that annoy her about men for inspiration.

She said: "I've got about five songs now, so almost halfway there.

"It's about boys, I've still got the same problems. They get worse because I'm away all the time. It gets a bit harder.

"The littlest things I can write about, it doesn't have to be some drama. The littlest things about not putting a cup in the dishwasher. I can write a song about that as well."

The 21-year-old star performed at Glastonbury festival last summer but has no plans to attend any summer events this year.

She added to BBC Newsbeat: "I'm not really up for festivals this year. I just want to go home and chill out, maybe go and lie on a beach somewhere."
