ADELE NURSED THUMB INJURY AT GRAMMYS

Singer ADELE was in pain throughout the Grammys on Sunday (08Feb09) after ripping off a thumbnail before Saturday night's (07Feb09) MusiCares tribute to NEIL DIAMOND.The British singer, who was named a Grammy Best New Artist, was forced to wear a large white bandage on her thumb as she performed Diamond's Cracklin' Rosie on the night before the Grammys, and a Band Aid to the prizegiving.
She tells Eonline.com, "I ripped my nail off. I had fake nails on and I was having a tickling fight and it bent back and ripped my nail underneath off."
