ACTOR VANCE DREAMED OF TWINS SIX YEARS BEFORE THEY WERE BORN
Actor COURTNEY B VANCE dreamed he'd be a father to twins six years before he and his wife ANGELA BASSETT became parents to surrogate babies.
The couple tried to conceive a natural child for seven years, but after a series of miscarriages and failed in vitro fertilisation efforts, they decided to seek the help of a surrogate mum.
And, as soon as THE PREACHER'S WIFE star Vance heard he was to become a dad, he knew his dream of having twins was about to come true.
He says, "I had a dream that we were going to have twins six years prior, so I knew, I held onto that... I didn't know how it was gonna happen.
"When we saw the first heartbeat on the ultrasound monitor, everyone was like, `Oh, it's so wonderful.' He (doctor) kept going around and he said, `What's this, another heartbeat?' and Angela screamed."
The couple's twins, BRONWYN GOLDEN and JOSIAH SLATER, were born at the beginning of last year (JAN06).
