ACTOR SYMONDS DEAD AT 80
DYNASTY star ROBERT SYMONDS has died of complications from prostate cancer. He was 80.
The actor, who played Dr. Jonas Edwards on the cult TV soap from 1982 to 1987, will also be remembered for movie roles in The Exorcist and Micki + Maude, in which he starred with his wife Priscilla Pointer.
But Symonds is perhaps best known to theatre fans in America after teaming up with Pointer in a series of hit plays that wowed critics in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
The couple also performed English-language plays in their adopted Paris, France annually.
