ACTOR RECOVERING AFTER BIKE FALL
US TV actor DAVID JAMES ELLIOTT has spent the past week recovering after falling from his bicycle while riding in Los Angeles on Friday (01SEP06). The former JAG star, who is a part-time triathlete, required stitches on his ear and forehead after taking a tumble. The actor's wife picked him up and took him to the emergency room. Elliott, who competed in an Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii last year (05), will return to work on the set of drama CLOSE TO HOME tomorrow (12SEP06).
